Thank goooooodness it’s Friday!

And I am delighted to bring this Friday’s second photo finish with a photo from my trip last weekend.

All I want to do this summer is things outdoors, including some great hikes (trying to plan a trip to Wales currently) and I do love shopping for athletic gear.

Is it just me or is everything in bloom this year particularly gorgeous? I honestly can’t stop taking pictures of the trees, flower pots and gardens in my hood. The weekend has arrived and I don’t know about you guys but I am extra stoked for this one to begin. Eric’s off for a few days, my favorite Penn State peeps are making their way into town and we’ve got a nice, Brooklyn-y weekend planned (and let’s face it anytime there’s a Brooklyn weekend to be had I’m a happy camper) complete with a Cuban brunch, brewery tour and tasty dinners. Sunday, we’re headed back to the Brooklyn Flea’s Smorgasburg, which just opened for the season.

I apologize for my lack of posts last week, life was crrrrrazy.

As I mentioned before I went to London for a business trip, the event was great, but on the way back to Dublin, our plane was unable to land because of wind so we were diverted to Glasgow. There we had to stay the night in a crap hotel that I ended up having to pay for, and wait around at the airport most of the day after.

I was pretty wrecked from the event itself let alone all the chaos after, so again apologies for being m.i.a. around here. This will change though and I will be posting lots this week!

Since last Friday I missed my photo finish, here’s a shot from my trip to London with a few color-themed items I love and need.

They ain’t no cherry blossoms like the ones in DC, but I’m loving the trees all in bloom around my neighborhood. Let’s take a minute to reflect on the lovely weather to come and blush accessories to covet all spring long on this dreary Friday in NYC.
