In a few weeks I move into my first real-person apartment (so I may not have an apartment yet in Ireland, but we’re working on it.)
Even though it will be just for a year, I’m having such a great time thinking of ideas to fill a brand new space. I even have a pinterest board dedicated to such ideas and did a post a few weeks ago on some other beautiful spaces for inspiration.
Here are some craft ideas I cannot wait to try:
Mixyour own chalkboard paint in ANY color! Love this idea. Plus, I’m slightly obsessed with chalkboard paint in general.
Sharpies + tea mugs will make for a nice, rainy afternoon… lord knows in Ireland I will have my fair share of those times.
Again, more chalkboard paint… but how awesome would this be for an entryway?
Washi tape tea lights. Considering the amount of washi tape I already own, this will be a super speedy project.
Confetti tags are just awesome. I also am thinking this could be incorporated in a really fun print.
Such a cute way to hang necklaces… love the little animals, but I think this could be a bit nicer with interesting doorknobs.
Hi Lucy, thanks for featuring my wall organizer. You’re spot on RE it being a great entryway piece, it’s what I envisioned it would be used for when I came up with it. Why not give it a bash? It’s not that difficult and no special tools reqiuired, an easy DIY primer :)
No problem, Matt it’s a great piece! I definitely will try to make it in the next few weeks… doubt it’ll come out nearly as good as yours but it’s worth a go!
