So today begins day one of the “real world.”

Job starts today, rent is due tomorrow, happy hour tonight… I mean I guess you have to sneak in some fun every now and then.

With every new milestone you neeeeeed a new outfit. While this is not exactly what I’m wearing today… minus the new watch, score! This is the type of stuff I have decided “real world Lucy” will wear. Today I’m wearing a wrap dress newly purchased (for $30, another score!) from the Gap that I sadly couldn’t find anywhere online.

However, I could see myself strutting it down the office hallway (okay, perhaps not strutting, but you get the picture) wearing something along these lines.

What was your first day of work ever outfit?! Considering I’m brand new to this whole real person thing, I could use some pointers.
