For all you non-sports fans out there, indulge me for a moment.

This weekend college football kicks-off its season (let’s go P-S-U!) and next Thursday, the Green Bay Packers–ahem, current Super Bowl Champions–ring in the NFL season after a looooong off season.

Thankfully, Old Navy and Victoria’s Secret are back with some fun football fashion that fits well and looks good for any tailgate or football party. Both sites have gear for nearly all your favorite teams and the prices are so good, even a semi-fan can pick something up to be a part of the crowd without breaking the bank. It has been ages since an inspiration post! I finally received my printed pictures from Ireland (a whopping 500 of them) and went through them with my friends last night. Remembering this waterfall in County Leitrim gave me a little inspiration for a whimsical outfit and this is what I came up with. Having this outfit in my closet would make me too happy.

I hope everyone stayed very safe during Hurricane Irene. Having it past me in South Carolina and go straight up toward my family up North, I was a little bit nervous for y’all! Hopefully everything’s all good for those of you up there.

Anyway, happy Monday and que these wonderful boots from Free People. Not only do I love their styling (who thought that three pairs of socks could actually be cute?) but these boots look awesome for fall coming up right around the corner.

I’d like to transition some of my skirts/dresses into the new season by pairing them with these super cute boots. Here are some of my favorites from FP’s new boots that you can shop through here.

Rock you like a hurricane

Welp East Coasters, first we had a really cool earthquake and NOW it looks like we’re bound for a hurricane.

Here’s my in case of emergency outfit/entertainment:

- A nice comfy sweatshirt–Terry zip sleeveless hoodie, Gap $34.95

- If the power goes, I’m eating all the ice cream first. And it’s definitely going to be Moose Tracks

- I’ve finally gotten into Mad Men and I’m on season three. And if the power blows? I’m playing this instead.

- My book club’s next pick. It’s been sitting on my iPad for 9 months and now I’ll have some time to read it.

- Some stretchy pants to dance around the house in the dark (or just curl up on the couch) in–Grove crop pants, Lulemon $86

200th Post

Can you believe it? It is I love, I Need’s 200th post! Colorful fun pants all around!!!

Fun fact: in the year 200 the population of the world was a mere 257 million, compared to the population now of 6.78 billion! Yes, I found this when I googled ’200′ seeing if anything interesting came up to talk about. This was pretty much it.

Since January Jess and I have been posting and it’s been a fabulous time. Dragging back to our 2nd post and to our 20th post is kind of funny, seeing how short our posts used to be.

Our top two posts ever include a lovely post about earrings and Jess’ ode to trousers. We’ve even posted all about 200 in this great art website.
